In September, INCTR gave two webinars for the European School of Oncology’s (ESO) distance learning program, “e-session”. On September 1st, Dr Simon Sutcliffe, President of INCTR Canada presented “Cancer in Developing Countries” and Dr Ian Magrath, INCTR’s President, served as the discussant. On the 22nd, Dr Gayatri Palat, Director of INCTR’s Palliative Access (PAX) Program in India gave a webinar entitled, “Palliative Care in India”. Dr Fraser Black, the co-Director of the PAX program served as the discussant. These two sessions were very interactive with many questions coming from participants from different parts of the world. Both webinars will be available for viewing for the next 6 months at www.e-eso.net.
ESO, in collaboration with Nature Reviews Clinical Oncology, holds a series of distance learning programs on the internet called “e-session”. E-session consists of e-grandrounds which are held weekly on Thursdays from 1815 to 1900 CET and e-oncoreviews which are held on the first Tuesday of each month at the same time. Both are CME and ESMO-MORA accredited. All e-sessions are archived for a period of 6 months and are available for further viewing and CME accreditation at www.e-eso.net. Registration is required in order to view sessions of interest.
