Virginia LeBaron, RN, MS, member of the INCTR Palliative Access (PAX) Program and 3rd year PhD student at the University of Utah College of Nursing, has been selected as a Fulbright Scholar to study in India for the 2011-2012 academic year. With the support of Dr. Gayatri Palat, Ms. LeBaron will be conducting her research at the MNJ Regional Cancer Institute in Hyderabad, India and her dissertation project seeks to explore how opioid availability and caring for patients with advanced cancer may impact nurse moral distress.
