This meeting was held in conjunction with the First Congress of the Senegalese Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion and the 8th Congress of the Francophone African Society for Haematology on Nov 12-14th 2015. It was organized by INCTR's Pathology Programme represented by Prof Martine Raphael who is also the President of INCTR's French Branch: Alliance Mondiale contre le Cancer. The main topic was plasmacytic differentiation of lymphomas in the context of Africa. In addition to the lectures, numerous presentations of experience of diagnosis of lymphomas and haematopoietic malignancies were presented by haematologists and pathologists from Sub-Saharan West, Central and East Africa in order to discuss cases, difficult diagnoses and experiences.
